Stock trades for asset protection

I recently saw some analysis showing that Coach (COH) is over-valued. If it's overvalued now, can you imagine how a luxury goods retailer like this (high priced women's handbags sold in retail outlets) will do in turbulent times ? This is still my favorite "short".

Re: Stock trades for asset protection

Coach has since fallen dramatically as have a lot of retailers. If a pandemic arises, you can probably short just about anything ...except gold that is. :)

Re: Stock trades for asset protection

The traders on CNBC's 'Fast Money' tout Merck, J & J, and Altria (MO) as safe-havens.
