In an interview, the official stressed that it has 28 million doses of which carries a significant advance in vaccination, since the population has come to be immunized as a measure of protection against the risk of developing influenza or pneumonia or bronchitis.

"There has been a very good response from people and urged them to do so just because we are seeing an increase in respiratory illnesses and flu symptoms, sometimes even serious, you see that in some countries there have been deaths due to influenza A (H1N1 ) "he said.

C?rdova ruled that Mexico has not come to present deaths from influenza A (H1N1) since more than 60 percent of the population is naturally immunized against this virus, because at some point been exposed to disease and even acquired and developed the antibodies that protect them now.

He reiterated that should be vaccinated under six months to five years or more than five years with one risk factor, such as asthma, all over 60 years, 50 to 60 with risk factors such as diabetes, obesity or chronic diseases , and pregnant women in the third quarter.

He stated that the vaccine is safe, free and protects against three viruses and the best thing to do is to get vaccinated, noting that it is rare that the biological causes a side reaction.

The head of the Ministry of Health (SSA) said that it is important that people take into account the recommendations made to the population to prevent health risks and accidents due to cold.

According to information from the director general of the General Hospital of Mexico, Francisco Navarro Reynoso, respiratory diseases in winter season increased from 200 to 300 times, compared to the months of May, June and July.
