Ssa registers 258 cases of influenza AH1N1 in 2011

The confirmed cases are brought in 21 states of the country. It populates and Tlaxcala registers an increase of these cases in the last three weeks.


In what goes of 2011 they confirmed to themselves 258 cases of influenza A/H1N1 and a whole of 31 deaths, 18 (58 %) corresponded to the masculine sex and 13 (42 %) to the feminine one, reported the Secretary of Health, that it lowered the pandemic alert two years ago.
The confirmed cases are brought in 21 federative entities, of which six accumulate 78 %, like it is Chihuahua, It populates, Lowers California, Federal District, Jalisco and State of Mexico.
In case of Chihuahua, the biggest number of cases owed to the sprout that appeared at the beginning of year.
On the other hand, the states of Puebla and Tlaxcala bring an increase in the presence of cases in the last three weeks. In Puebla there are 42 confirmed cases, which represent a decrease of 24 % with regard to 2010, and 34 correspond to December. Also three deaths register.
In Tlaxcala there register seven confirmed cases, number that constitutes a reduction of 50 % with regard to 2010, and five correspond to December.

Pablo Kuri Morales, undersecretary of Prevention and Promotion of the Health, of the Ssa, added in interview with MILLENIUM that this information, obtained throughout 2011 until January 2, 2012, reflects an important descent of contagions and deaths for respiratory illnesses, also for the viruses of influenza, including the A/H1N1.
