El nivel de intensidad de la gripe es alto para el conjunto de la Regi?n, y el nivel de difusi?n de la enfermedad es generalizada en todo el territorio. Se registra una tendencia ascendente con respecto a la semana anterior en todas las ?reas sanitarias. El virus predominante en esta semana sigue siendo el A (H1N1).
Cabe destacar que en semanas de m?xima actividad gripal, en a?os anteriores, se han llegado a detectar m?s de 15.000 casos semanales de gripe y m?s de un centenar de muertes anuales en la Regi?n de Murcia por problemas derivados de la gripe. El sistema apenas est? registrando casos de gripe estacional, por lo que de momento se puede establecer que el virus de la nueva gripe est? sustituyendo al virus de la gripe estacional.

Ni a las 2 fallecidas de esta pasada madrugada en Lorca de 26 y 39 a?os. La causa de la muerte es neumon?a, pero claro, esa neumon?a apareci? despu?s de ser infectadas por una gripe A, que les provoc? una "bajada de defensas". En la mayor?a de casos, la gripe A no es la causante DIRECTA de la muerte, pero provoca otras sobreinfecciones, y esos casos (que son la mayor?a) no cuentan.

Me gustar?a saber por que motivo no hacen referencia en esta noticia al caso del profesor de Lorca que con 56 a?os ha fallecido al parecer como consecuencia de la gripe A, el cual en principio no ten?a ninguna patolog?a previa. ?No ser? por no alarmar?

The first, a man aged 51, was admitted on February 9 in Los Arcos Hospital where he was transferred to Santa Maria del Rosell Hospital in Cartagena with high fever and positive tests influenza A (H1N1). The man had previous pathologies risk. Died Thursday morning in the hospital for complications of influenza itself A.
The second case is a woman of North African origin, 41, who died Thursday afternoon after one weeks stay in the ICU of the Hospital Rafael M?ndez de Lorca with influenza A. Her condition worsened due to a number of previous pathologies of risk.
As of today, there are five deaths with influenza A in the region, two this past week.
For the remainder of cases, almost all of them have mild clinical symptoms. The incidence of influenza in Murcia exceeds the baseline threshold of influenza activity, with an upward trend on the previous week.
At week 46, until 21 November, have been collected in the epidemiological surveillance system of the Directorate General of Public Health in Primary Care Health Service Murciano a total of 8375 cases of influenza A virus-predominant (H1N1 ).
The intensity level of influenza is high for the whole region, and level of dissemination of the disease is widespread throughout the territory. It was recorded an upward trend over the previous week in all health areas. The predominant virus in this week remains the A (H1N1).
Note that in weeks of high influenza activity in previous years, have come to identify more than 15,000 weekly cases of influenza and more than a hundred deaths annually in the Region of Murcia for problems arising from the flu.

Neither died at 2 am this morning in Lorca, 26 and 39. The cause of death is pneumonia, but of course that appeared pneumonia after being infected by influenza A, which caused them a "drop in defenses." In most cases, influenza A is not the direct cause of death, but causes other superinfections, and these cases (which are the majority) do not count.
