[FONT=바탕]The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs ( Minister Jeong Hwang-geun , hereinafter the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs ) is promoting the import of broiler chicken eggs to stabilize the price of chicken, which has recently risen due to a supply shortage , and announced that they will arrive in Korea for the first time on August 17th . As for the import of eggs, in 2017 , laying hens were imported due to the highly pathogenic avian influenza (AI) , but this is the first time that commercial hens for breeding have been imported .
