Busan, on the 16th, announced on 16th that it was judged as H5N6 type as a result of interim inspection of the agricultural, forestry and livestock quarantine headquarters for domestic chicken reported as bird flu virus (AI)

The H5N6 strain is believed to be more virulent than the H5N8 strain in 2014 and has a faster spread rate.

To prevent the spread of AI, the city blocked entry and exit roads at the entrance to the farm, and installed 6 poultry control stations in the police station.

The city will install 6 additional facilities in addition to the Gyeongsang-gun and 1 disinfection facility in Gangseo-gu with the Nakdong River.

In addition, disinfection activities will be strengthened for the surrounding farm households and poultry disposal sites.

An official of the city said, "Poultry farmers will thoroughly control access and disinfect to prevent AI, and will urge citizens to visit migratory birds and livestock facilities."

On the other hand, 9 dogs were reported by the owner in a farmhouse where 24 domestic chickens were raised in the Gyesang army on the 15th.

The inspectors carried out a simple test on 10 dogs including 7 dead and 3 living bodies, and seven of them (five dead, two dead) were positive. (not clear how many are dead as result of H5N6. s.s)

The city has disappeared all the poultry breeding farms on the 15th, and completed the preventive death disposal of 654 farms of 5 poultry farms within a radius of 3km corresponding to the protected area on the 16th.
