South Carolina: School Shutting Down because of Flu

(Lexington County) - School officials at Nursery Road Elementary School are shutting down the school because of an outbreak of a flu-like virus.

The students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m.

Lexington-Richland School District Five spokesman Buddy Price tells News19 about 350 students did not show up Friday. Included in that number are students who are sick, and some who were kept home as a precaution by their parents.
