... But not all eggs are created equal and not all prices are climbing.
?We've had no issues, no price increases; steady, consistent, awesome product all the time,? said Jessica Duggan who owns Kitchen Table restaurant in downtown Omaha with her husband Colin. When they opened the restaurant two years ago they chose buy their food from local, family run farms which are smaller than large scale chicken farms suffering the brunt of the outbreak.
?This is our business model. We work all with local farmers,? said getting eggs, unaffected by outbreaks of disease in massive flocks, are the unanticipated benefit but still a welcome one....
