DENVER - A 25-year-old Commerce City man has died as a result of the H1N1 swine flu, the Adams County Coroner's Office confirmed Monday.

The unidentified man died on Sept. 29, after receiving treatment for an upper respiratory illness, a statement from the coroner's office said.

At the time he was treated, the man didn't exhibit, or complain, of any flu-like conditions.

There have been six previous confirmed deaths in Colorado from the H1N1 flu. Three of the six were 18 or younger. The remaining three were 25 or older.
