Six people have died in Simcoe-Muskoka area

(QMI Agency) ? Six people have died so far in the region overseen by the Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit in what seems to be a deadlier-than-normal influenza season.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Charles Gardner said those deaths have been attributed to the H3N1 variant of Influenza A making its unwelcome rounds.
It's the same strain that might have been responsible for nine deaths in nearby Grey-Bruce so far this winter...
