US Food Safety Corp has launched www.USFoodSafety.com. The website is intended to be a timely source of food safety information for consumers.

Food safety alerts for consumers
Through the website, registered members may receive food safety alerts, information about recalls and advice on a variety of food safety issues.

"Consumers have to become their own food safety advocates by actively searching for recalls and alerts," stated Susan Reef, chief executive officer of www.USFoodSafety.com.

Current information
Current Information on the site consists of the latest recall alerts, a primer about how food products are inspected and regulated by the federal government, and article on holiday food safety tips, keeping food safe during emergencies and how consumers can protect themselves from listeriosis.
