SINGAPORE ? Four horses at the Singapore Turf Club (STC) have been diagnosed with strangles, a non-fatal equine respiratory condition, STC said in a statement yesterday (Jan 20). However, it added that racing would ?continue as per normal? and that humans could not contract the disease.
Four other horses showing clinical signs of the disease have also been quarantined. A total of 128 horses are currently isolated and barred from trackwork, following isolation orders issued...
