157 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore, including 20 in the community, 3 imported
SINGAPORE - There are 157 new coronavirus patients confirmed as of Tuesday noon (July 7), taking Singapore's total to 45,140.

They include 20 community cases, comprising 12 Singaporeans or permanent residents, and eight work pass holders, said the Ministry of Health (MOH).
Of these 20 cases, 12 are close contacts of earlier cases and had already been placed on quarantine.
1. As of 8 July 2020, 12pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 158 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore, the vast majority of whom are Work Permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories. Based on our investigations so far, there are 9 cases in the community, of whom 4 are Singaporeans/ Permanent Residents and 5 are Work Pass holders.
2. In addition, there are 3 imported cases, all of whom had been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.
SINGAPORE - There are 125 new coronavirus patients confirmed as of Thursday noon (July 9), taking Singapore's total to 45,423.
They include 21 community cases, comprising four Singaporeans or permanent residents and 17 work pass holders, said the Ministry of Health (MOH).
