Public warned of possible Measles outbreak
Kelly fedor

The public is being warned of a possible measles outbreak in Sydney after a man in his late 20s was diagnosed with disease.

The man visited and travelled around several parts of the city last weekend, including the Anzac Club in North Sydney, the V Music Festival in Centennial Park and the Score Bar at Star City.

Dr Jeremy McAnulty from the Health Department says measles is a highly infectious disease and can be passed by being in the same room as the infected person.

?So if you get the symptoms of the measles, and that includes cough, sore nose, followed in a few days by this rash that starts on the face and works down the rest of the body, call ahead to see your doctor so you don?t infect other people.?

?You?ll need to isolate yourself.?
