A MAN who had "never been ill" has died from swine flu just hours after complaining of a sore throat and a headache.
The death of kind-hearted Garry Irvine, 49, has stunned the local community as he had apparently been in good health almost to the day he died.
Mr Irvine, who lived with his parents Ian, 73, and Mary, 74, in Mayfield, Midlothian, was rushed to hospital after collapsing at home last week but could not be saved
