In Senegal, 83 additional contaminations to the new coronavirus were identified on Saturday, including a new death bringing the total number to 15 since the start of the epidemic, reports the Ministry of Health and Social Action. According to Dr Diouf, she died at 4 a.m. at the CUEMO Center at Fann Hospital. The victim was a carrier of a chronic disease.
A total of 975 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized in health facilities dedicated to the treatment of coronavirus disease.
Seven serious cases are under observation in the intensive care units of Fann and Principal hospitals, while the state of health of the other patients is progressing favorably, said Dr Alyose Waly Diouf.
