April 19, 2011 - See?s Candies, Inc. of San Francisco, Calif., is recalling one code of 4.25 ounce Mayfair Eggs, with Cherries & Pecans because they contain walnuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to walnuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. The total number of eggs produced with walnuts in place of pecans is 600.

The product was distributed through See?s owned retail shops in Northern California (San Jose and north), Northern Nevada (Reno), Oregon, Washington, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota and Illinois.

The product is sold individually in boxes labeled See?s Candies Mayfair with Cherries & Pecans. The code, 138, is visible thru the cellophane window of the box on the top tab...
