Two more patients die in Paisley hospital after norovirus outbreak

TWO more patients suffering from diarrhoea and vomiting have died in a hospital hit by a norovirus outbreak.

It is suspected that the bug has now claimed four lives at the Royal Alexandra in Paisley. Two patients died there on Friday.

The latest fatalities were due to underlying medical conditions but NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde said diarrhoea and vomiting were contributory factors in one of the deaths....
