Patient with swine flu dies
Adult from Dumfries and Galloway becomes 55th victim of swine flu in Scotland.

An adult from the Dumfries and Galloway area has become the latest victim of swine flu, the Scottish Government has announced.
The patient, who had underlying health problems, is the 55th person to die with the condition in Scotland.
Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon said: "It is with regret I confirm another H1N1 related death. My thoughts are with the patient's family and friends.
"As the H1N1 vaccination programme progresses we should see a further decrease in the number of people contracting the illness but we must remain vigilant as the illness can be severe and, as seen in this case, it can be fatal.
"We continue to urge everyone within the priority groups to accept the vaccination, when invited to do so by their GP, as it's our best defence against the pandemic."
Any members of the public with flu-like symptoms are urged to contact their GP or call NHS 24 on 08454 24 24 24, or further information on the vaccine programme is available via the Scottish Swine Flu Vaccination Helpline on 08000 282816.
