School vaccinations for swine flu delayed

Dr. Jim McVay with the Alabama Department confirms that Federal health authorities notified his office today that the four manufacturers of the H1N1 vaccine are shipping slower than expected.
State and local officials were planning to have mass vaccination clinics by late October or early November.
Now those plans have been pushed back by a matter of weeks.
An e-mail sent to parents in the Madison City school district says it could be between Thanksgiving and Christmas before the vaccine is available in mass quantities.
