School principal may be Bulgaria's 3rd H1N1 death

The Principal of ?Vasil Levski? High School in Bulgaria?s North-Western city Vratsa, has died after being treated over the last week for suspected swine flu

According to unofficial information, after having a cough and constantly taking antibiotics this week, on Friday the her condition deteriorated and soon after she was taken to an emergency medical center where she died. Her age has not yet been confirmed.
The assumption that she died from the A (H1N1) virus, will be confirmed or rejected after an autopsy. Currently two schools are closed in Vratsa ? one after 35,5% were reported to be suffering from flu like symptoms.

Meanwhile, on Friday a 20-year-old man, Boris Petrov, is suspected to have died from swine flu in Blagoevgrad after being transferred from Petrich Hospital to a special unit in the city. A 31-year-old man is also in a serious condition in the Blagoevgrad Hospital, again suffering from flu symptoms.

Bulgaria Health Minister, Bozhidar Nanev, stated Saturday that there are currently 277 laboratory-proven cases of the A(H1N1) virus - swine flu, in Bulgaria, with two confirmed deaths.
