Very, very sad.

From what I can piece together, it looks like she fell ill on 9/6, visited the ER three separate times (treated with saline IV, cough medicine and antibiotics) before she was finally hospitalized on 9/13. And it was only on 9/22 that she was finally diagnosed with swine flu. The ball appears to have been dropped multiple times. It's tragic, but it also makes me very angry.

Kitty Joy Sexton
1981 - 2009
Kitty Joy Sexton age 28, passed away October 1, 2009 in Lancaster California.

She was born February 7, 1981 in Camarillo, CA and was raised in Ventura County. Kitty loved soccer, swimming, traveling and participating in SCA events. She was a computer programmer for eight years and received her bachelors from Cal State Northridge.

Kitty is survived parents Kathryn Thomas of Porterville, CA, Vance Sexton of Lakewood, WA, numerous relatives, many deaf friends, and her SCA family.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday October 10, 2009 at the SCA event in Taft, California. Arrangements by Halley Olsen Murphy Funerals and Cremation, Lancaster CA.
