Berkeley Co. School District warns parents about student?s viral meningitis diagnosis

MONCKS CORNER, SC (WCSC) - The Berkeley County School District sent a letter to parents after a student was diagnosed with viral meningitis over the weekend.

Staff members of Westview Primary School were notified of the diagnosis, according to BCSD spokesperson Katie Tanner.

?After speaking with a nurse from DHEC, as a precaution, a form letter was provided to parents/guardians of children who may have been exposed notifying them of the diagnosis,? Tanner said...
