A stray cat may have exposed two people to rabies in the southeastern part of Anderson County, according to the state Department of Health and Environmental Control.

The cat has been caught and tested positive for rabies and the two people exposed to the cat have been referred to health-care providers for preventative treatments, including a vaccine...
