Kitten Exposes Person in Lee County to Rabies

Lee County, SC (WLTX) - South Carolina health officials say a kitten exposed a person in Lee County to rabies.

The Department of Health and Environmental control states the incident happened on January 5th in the Ashwood area of Bishopville. The animal was apparently a rescued stray.

The person has been referred to their health care provider to undergo post-exposure treatment...
