Measles case confirmed in Upstate, passengers on flight exposed

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The South Carolina Department of Public Health said an Upstate resident who recently boarded an international flight has tested positive for measles.

The Centers for Disease Prevention and Control notified South Carolina officials of the potential exposure on Sept. 12. On Sept. 16, the Upstate resident received confirmed positive test results from the state’s public health lab.​..
