Saudi Prince Talal bin Abdul-Aziz Says Absolute Rule by An Individual Without Accountability Is No Longer Acceptable in This Era

Saudi Prince Talal bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, a Senior Member of the family that rules Saudi Arabia, has made the statement via his twitter account:

في هذا العصر ببلادنا أو غيرها لم يعد حكم الفرد المطلق مقبولاً إضافة إلى أن من يُكلف بالمسؤولية والمهام العامة فيجب أن يخضع للمساءلة

which translates:

"In this era in our country or the other is no longer acceptable to the absolute rule of the individual in addition to the cost of liability and public functions should be held accountable."

He has also resigned from the "Allegiance Commission" of Saudi Arabia.
