بدأت جموع الحجيج فى مغادرة المدينة المنورة صباح اليوم، وفقا للتعليمات السعودية التى نصت على ضرورة تواجد الحجاج فى مكة صباح يوم السادس من ذى الحجة، يأتى ذلك بينما أعلنت السلطات السعودية عن اكتشاف ٢٠ إصابة بفيروس أنفلونزا الخنازير وسط الحجيج إلا أن مسؤولى البعثة المصرية أكدوا عدم وجود أى إصابات أو حالات اشتباه بين الحجاج المصريين.
