The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has imposed a temporary ban on the importation of live animal species from China. The Director General of the Department of Animal Risk Assessment Dr. Sanad Al-Harbi said that the ban came after examining the warning issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), which reports the emergence of traumas in China, and in anticipation of the spill to the Kingdom and to the public interest.
