The Director of the Department of Health and Veterinary Supervision of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture Dr. Ali Al-Duwairj told ?Al-Watan? that there are five committees whose main task now is to ban transmission of avian influenza virus between regions, after the emergence of the virus among samples of poultry in Riyadh.
He denied the emergence of any infected sample in the area of Mecca, pointing out that the siege of the injuries in Riyadh only, and that all the committees and teams are field tours daily and record any possible spots of infection with the speed of treatment situation.
