Revealed the Minister of Health in charge of Adel Al-Faqih, the Ministry of Health began implementation of an urgent plan to understand and analyze the nature of the Coronavirus, and explore the best ways to contain it and stand on the health situation in the Kingdom, and through the discussion of the developments and the measures to be taken to counter the threats posed by the virus and ways to limit its spread.

He added that he had recently been taking a series of effective measures, and serious steps to curb the spread of the virus in the Kingdom included a series of field visits to a number of hospitals in various parts of the Kingdom for the purpose of standing on their readiness and ? to receive any cases infected with the virus do not, God forbid, in addition to the appointment of the Medical Council consultant who recently set up by the ministry to help meet this challenge on public health in the UK, describing Ma'aleh this Council as a key pillar in supporting the efforts of the Ministry of Health.

He stressed that his ministry is committed to the principle of transparency and disclosure, both with the media or members of Saudi society, and to provide all the information they need about the current situation as we believe that they will not be able to contribute with us in the fight against the virus, but if they get accurate information, if available, stressing that the ministry's website on the Internet is updated daily and put full details on the cases that have been monitored and the locations of these cases and the ages of the injured and the sex of the situation.
He thanked the Medical Advisory Council on the recommendations and suggestions made by the value recently, pointing out that the ministry will discuss and consulting work in the light of the coming period.
He warned His Excellency the Minister of direct contact with the [camels] In the case of having to approach them, especially the [camels] of infected respiratory symptoms ? and runny nose should be wearing a mask and screen for eyes, gloves and a protective apron of the body. It also called on His Excellency to take precautions when handling [camels] raw meat and not to drink [raw] milk before it was boiled. The cooked meat does not pose a threat.
He called Engineer Fakih citizens not to elicit information on the virus of social media and those who promote their products for medical and therapeutic fake not shown on the medical evidence internationally recognized, stressing that the ministry has to attract consultants and experts worlds and formed advisory committees to get to know all the large and small about the virus and its information indicating on what comes out of the scientific team specialist.
For his part, Dr. Jawad ? Head of Delegation of the World Health Organization and the Director of the Division of infectious disease control office of the Eastern Mediterranean Region of WHO that trapping Coronavirus and eliminate it during this period is a priority and that it did not require the declaration of a state of the epidemic, stressing that the organization does not recommend any stop action on travel within or outside the Kingdom.
He praised the efforts of the Kingdom of preventive represented by the Ministry of Health to stop the spread of the virus, in addition to conducting numerous research in order to identify the disease, which contributes to the knowledge of prevention methods, noting in this regard to the polarization of the ministry of many experts and consultants from both inside and outside the Kingdom to discuss the developments of the virus to reduce from spreading.
For his part, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Public Health Dr. Ziad [Memish] that the ministry is following all the developments and working 24 hours a day through specialized committees, noting that the situation for all reassuring and not to worry.
On the wearing of masks in public sites, explained Dr. [Memish] that the ministry does not recommend the community to wear masks in the streets, schools and public places, but should be limited to close contacts of doctors and nurses as they entered the patients, indicating that continue to wear them may turn into a source of infection.
On the international conference, confirmed that [Memish] held at the Ministry with the participation of leading experts in the world, and discuss everything related to Corona virus in terms of information and a way to spread and activity, pointing to a lack of treatment or vaccine for the virus so far.
