This is the first mention of Madinah region: One new case of bird flu (H5N8)
The ministry, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, continues its efforts to contain the outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N8).
While the field veterinary teams in the provinces of Al-Kharj, Huraila, Dharma, Dawadmi, Bani Tamim, Al-Aflaj, Thadak, Al-Dera'iya and Al-Quwaiya in Riyadh, Buraidah and Bakiriya in Al-Qassim and Al-Ahsa Region in the Eastern Region and Madinah Region follow the safe disposal procedures of birds in bird markets and traditional breeding grounds.
