The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture announced the registration of a new case of H5N8 bird fluin the last 24 hours in Qatif.
The Ministry said in its daily summary that the number of samples collected since the beginning of the spread amounted to 3418 samples collected from all regions of the Kingdom was disposed of 13651 birds.
The ministry explained that the Central Emergency Room has received 14 reports in all the past 24 hours, in addition to 43 inquires about the disease and bird flu symptoms, pointing out the continuation of awareness and survey campaigns in all areas of the Kingdom in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs.
