- The number of samples that arrived at the veterinary diagnosis laboratory in Riyadh till today reached 1503 samples since the beginning of the outbreak. The samples were collected on the basis of citizens' reports and procedures of surveying and investigation in the vicinity of the affected areas.
- The number of cases of avian influenza among birds during the past twenty-four hours one injury in a breeding coop in Al-Ahsa in the Eastern Province, and the Ministry began to implement the contingency plan in cooperation with the competent authorities.
- The field teams continued to complete the cleaning and prevention procedures in one of the poultry projects. The field teams, in collaboration with the Municipality of Darma, completed the safe disposal of 120,000 birds in the project.
- The field teams in Al-Kharj continue to complete the clearance and prevention procedures in one of the affected areas. The field teams, in cooperation with Al-Kharj Municipality, completed the safe disposal of 4240 birds.
