KSA?s food imports to rise 35% by 2020
Saudi Arabia would remain the highest food consumer among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries at 64 percent by 2015, says the Foodex Saudi Expo, which projected the Kingdom's imports to grow by 35.2 percent by 2020.

The Kingdom?s food imports are projected to grow by 35.2 percent by 2020 compared to 16.8 percent in 2010, local media said quoting a report released by Foodex Saudi Expo.
The report said the Kingdom would remain the highest food consumer in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries at 64 percent by 2015, followed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at 18.9 percent, with Bahrain coming in last at 1.5 percent.
