أقامت الشبكة العربية لمعلومات حقوق الإنسان دعوى قضائية أمس، أمام مجلس الدولة ضد رئيس الجمهورية تطالبه بعزل وزير الخارجية المصرى أحمد أبوالغيط، والسفير المصرى فى السعودية محمود عوف، بسبب عجزهما أو ?تواطئهما? بالصمت والإهمال فى اتخاذ موقف يجبر السلطات السعودية على الإفراج عن ناشط الإنترنت المصرى يوسف العشماوى، أو حتى تحديد أسباب احتجازه وماهية الاتهامات الموجهة له، رغم مضى ما يقرب من مائة يوم منذ اعتقاله فى مدينة الرياض.
Set up the Arabic Network for Human Rights Information lawsuit yesterday, before the Council of State against the President urging him to sack Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit, the Egyptian Ambassador in Saudi Arabia Mahmoud Ouf, because of the inability or ?Toatihma? silence and neglect to take the position of the Saudi authorities to force the release of the active Internet Egyptian Youssef Ashmawi, or even to determine the reasons for his detention and what the charges against him, although some of the past hundred days since his arrest in the city of Riyadh.
وكانت الشبكة العربية لمعلومات حقوق الإنسان قد أصدرت بيانًا صحفيًا عن يوسف العشماوى المحتجز دون اتهام فى سجن الحائر بالرياض فى ١٤ أكتوبر الماضى، وانتظرت أن تتخذ الخارجية المصرية أو السفارة المصرية أى موقف يوضح اهتمامهما بحرية هذا الشاب المصرى المحتجز دون اتهام فى السعودية.
The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information issued a press release Youssef Ashmawi who has been held without charge in al-Ha'ir prison in Riyadh on Oct. 14 last, and waited to take the Egyptian Foreign Ministry or the Egyptian embassy interest in any position to say that freedom of the young Egyptian detained without charge in Saudi Arabia.
وأكدت الشبكة فى بيان لها أمس أنها سوف تحول هذه القضية لمعركة قانونية تعطى المواطنين حق المطالبة بعزل المسؤولين بمن فيهم الوزراء.
The network in a statement yesterday that it would shift the issue to a legal battle given citizens the right to demand the removal officials, including ministers.
من جانبه، قال جمال عيد، المدير التنفيذى للشبكة العربية لمعلومات حقوق الإنسان - أحد محامى العشماوى -: ?المسؤولون فى السفارة المصرية فى السعودية لم يهتموا سوى بإطلاق التصريحات حول جهود كاذبة للكشف عن مصير يوسف العشماوى، وانتظرت أسرة يوسف طويلاً أن يخرج وزير الخارجية عن صمته ليعلن لنا طبيعة الاتهامات الموجهة ليوسف دون جدوى?.
For his part, Gamal Eid, executive director of the Arabic Network for Human Rights Information - a lawyer Ashmawi -: ?Officials at the Egyptian Embassy in Saudi Arabia but did not bother launching false statements on the efforts to uncover the fate of Yusuf Ashmawi, the family of Yousef and waited long to come out and Minister of Foreign Affairs Silence to announce to us the nature of the charges against Yusuf in vain ?.
