[h=2]Conclusion[/h] The condition of some patients with severe SARS-CoV‑2 infection patients might deteriorate rapidly with acute respiratory distress syndrome and septic shock, which is eventually followed by multiple organ failure and fulminant myocarditis. More attention should be paid to patients with extremely increased cardiac troponin I (cTnI) levels and new-onset arrhythmias. The application of mechanical respirators and circulatory support systems, including IABP, Impella, and ECMO, might have beneficial effects on these patients.
