A male child of 7 years, a resident of Black River (Rio Preto), was admitted yesterday afternoon, 03 March, with suspected bacterial meningitis. The child is in intensive care, critical condition, breathing with the help of machines. Examinations were sent to Instituto Adolfo Lutz.

Children 5 years old, resident of Jose Bonifacio, remains in the isolation room and well.
