Santa Catarina: 38 deaths from flu H1N1 in 2012

The virus of the flu A H1N1 killed 38 persons in Saint Catarina from the beginning of the year, according to informations of the General office of Health of the state. The number can be considered a top if compared with the number of deaths caused by the virus in the whole country: 77. In last year, nobody died because of the disease in the state.

That happens principally between the most vulnerable groups, like the children even of up to 2 years, old with more than 60 and pregnant women ', says Cl?udio Maierovitch, director of the Department of Transmittable Diseases of the General office of Vigilance in Health of the Ministry of Health.
