During MMWR week 43 influenza activity in South Carolina generally decreased, with a slight increase in positive rapid tests. Flu activity is currently low. South Carolina reported SPRORADIC activity.

Laboratory surveillance:
* 138 laboratory-confirmed cases of influenza were reported from 21 counties.
