Moscow. 23 November. INTERFAX.RU - this year's first case of bird flu registered in Russia.

According to "Interfax" spokesman Alex Rosselkhoznadzor Alekseenko, bird disease found in private farms of Kalmykia.
"The current situation is studied, presumably, it is the flu H5N8, but it is possible that there are other similar strains," - he said.
According to him, the disease probably brought by migratory birds.

This Alekseenko said that in Russia there is an effective system to prevent the spread of the disease and its prevention.

"All the authorities clearly know how to act in case of disease, - he said -. But the main thing - we are able to create in a short time a vaccine against different strains of the virus at poultry farms a system of biological protection."
