In the Krasnodar edge in the past twenty-four hours are discovered more than three thousand killed [dead] wild birds, reported RIA of "news" in the press-service of the southern regional center OF MCHS [EMERGENCY AND DISASTER RELIEF MINISTRY] of Russia.

Dead bird is discovered on the coasts of two estuaries - Bugazskogo and Kiziltarskogo in the region Anapy.

According to the data of center, after detection the bird was destroyed. According to the collocutor of agency, preliminary analysis did not reveal the virus of "bird influenza".

The Krasnodar veterinary laboratory on 26 February must give the final data about the reason for the loss of birds.

MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - Wild ducks in two estuaries in Krasnodar territory died of enteritis, not bird flu.
"Tests conducted at the Krasnodar interregional veterinary laboratory indicated that the ducks died of enteritis," a spokesman for Rosselkhoznadzor animal and plant disease watchdog told Interfax.
Representatives of Rosselkhoznadzor, the Anapa veterinary service and a local hunting and fishing society have organized daily examination of the coasts of the estuaries near Blagoveshchenskaya where the death of about 3,000 ducks was registered.
