In Russia in 2009 from 400 people died of influenza

MOSCOW, October 2 - RIA Novosti. In Russia, for eight months of 2009 from influenza and ARI deaths 400 people, which is 9,7% less than the same period last year, said in a Friday report Federal State Statistics Service.
At the same time, MHSD Russia declares that there were no recorded deaths from the "Swine" influenza. Federal Service is monitoring the arrivals of people from "disadvantaged" in this regard, countries with April 30, 2009.
According to the Federal State Statistics Service, all respiratory diseases over the study period died of 50.423 thousand people, which is 5,4% less than in 2008. In particular, deaths from pneumonia 23.869 thousand.
Number of deaths from circulatory diseases has decreased by 5,2% and amounted to 760.668 thousand.
Number of deaths from neoplasms, by contrast, continues to grow. During eight months of 2009 compared to the same period in 2008 of cancer deaths in men more than 0,7% and amounted to 193.032 thousand.
Number of deaths from external causes has decreased over the same period of 2008 to 9,1%, which amounted to 143.038 thousand. From alcohol poisoning killed 11.037 thousand people, from traffic injuries - 18, 320 thousands and thousands of people, of which 12,351 thousand people lost their lives in road accidents.
Total in Russia in 2009 in January-August, died 1 million 347.301 thousand, which is 4% less than the same period in 2008.
