"Ham contaminated with African swine fever was found in the Yarche store in Yemelyanovo.
This was reported by the Kras Mash telegram channel. The product was found in a store on Moskovskaya Street.

Rosselkhoznadzor confirmed the information to Prospekt Mira, noting that swine fever is safe for humans. However, all contaminated products will be confiscated and destroyed.

This spring, an outbreak of African swine fever was registered in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Then it was necessary to kill and burn more than 500 pigs to stop the spread.

During the outbreak, the head of the veterinary department in the village where the outbreak was discovered, Leonid Khonyak, committed suicide. It is unclear whether this is related to the incident."
