The National Sanitary Veterinary Authority decided to suspend the organization and development of the itinerant trade with birds, for a period of one month, as a result of the discovery of a huge outbreak of avian influenza at a farm in Mures County. Commercial activities with live birds were also suspended.

05/08/2021A report of the H5N8 bird flu virus has been detected on a poultry farm in Ny?r?dt (Ungheni), Mure? County, and the entire herd (180,000 birds) has been ordered to be destroyed, the Romanian Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) said on Friday.
