Twenty-four were infected with Romanian new flu earlier this year and reached number four deaths. The most recent case is that of a boy from Satu Mare, aged one year and two months. And Constance have been confirmed cases Wednesday, November 2.
Most cases of infection with a new flu virus have been registered so far in the counties of Iasi and Bistrita-Nasaud. There were two cases diagnosed in seven counties in the country, including Bihar, Calarasi Cluj. In total, four people were killed amid the complications due to infection with H1N1. The first victim of the flu this year, was a professor of architecture. He died at a hospital in Iasi, from complications arising from contracting the flu in November. The architect was hospitalized in early January, in serious condition after he returned from Egypt.
The next two deaths from H1N1 have occurred within just 12 hours. The first case concerned a 23 year old woman 28 weeks pregnant, was discovered in Ploiesti. The young woman was admitted to the gynecology department of the hospital in Ploiesti, then the Cantacuzino Institute confirmed the presence of H1N1 virus. Doctors decided it was better for women's health, to terminate a pregnancy, but it did not survive the operation.
Several hours later, another woman, 29 years, this time in Iasi, died, diagnosed with the same virus.
