Romania - Covid-19: 101,075 cases, 4,100 deaths

A total of 14,107 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed by tests in Romania by May 6, according to the daily official report released on Wednesday, at 13:00. 270 patients tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the number of patients declared cured also increased to 5,788 (up from 5,454 reported on May 5), the same report said. The death toll has also risen to 858.

15,362 COVID-19 infections have been confirmed in Romania so far, with 231 new ones reported in the past 24 hours, and with the death toll climbing to 952.

Moreover, a new outbreak has been detected in a centre for people with disabilities from Neamt, where 167 cases are confirmed.

7.051 infected people recovered, while 242 patients are currently in intensive care.

Neamt Public Health Direction confirmed 167 COVID-19 cases among the employees and beneficiaries of the Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled People in Pastraveni, Neamt county.

Among the total, 100 beneficiaries and 67 employees of the centre have tested positive for the new coronavirus.

A total of 127 people tested positive for the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 17,712, according to the daily official report released on Friday, May 22, at 13:00.

The number of new cases reported on Friday is smaller than the one announced the day before - 198.

The number of confirmed patients who have recovered from COVID-19 also increased to 10,777 (up from 10,581 reported on Thursday). The death toll has also risen to 1,159.

BUCHAREST — Romania will reopen outdoor cafes and restaurants and allow international road and rail travel from June 1, after a two-month lockdown to contain the new coronavirus outbreak, President Klaus Iohannis said on Thursday.

Romania recorded 238 coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 19,907 on Thursday, June 4, at 13:00, the authorities announced.

It is the highest number of daily cases since May 16, when 267 daily cases were reported. Since then, the number of daily cases was generally below 200.

At the same time, 1,299 Covid-19 patients died by June 4, while 153 patients were admitted to intensive care units.

Almost 200 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Romania in the last 24 hours, according to the official daily report released on Friday, June 5, at 13:00. Thus, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country reached 20,103 (up from 19,907 reported the day before).

The number of confirmed patients who have recovered from COVID-19 also increased to 14,145 (up from 13,919 reported on Thursday). Meanwhile, the death toll has risen to 1,308
