But we are now in a different time. A much darker time. The silence of free speech is now deafening.

Not only is blatant censorship tolerated, it is being encouraged by the very people who were to be entrusted with protecting our freedom of speech.

We are not living from the lessons we've learned before. Never in my life, would I believe the sitting President of the United States call out 12 Americans in a McCarthyism like attack in the United States. As you are aware, I was placed at the top of this list.

The last week has brought a tremendous amount of reflections to me, and a lot of unacceptable threats to a company full of amazing people that have helped me support you in this journey.

By now I am sure you know that there was a recent NY Times article attacking me and it was one of the most widely distributed stories in the world. The article was loaded with false statements made about me and my organization.

The report would be laughed at if it were to be submitted for peer review, the groups that created it are funded by dark money and operated by an illegal foreign agent. The press never questioned it, but ran with their orders from above.

I can deal with the CNN crews that chase me by car while I bicycle from my home. I feel sorry for the people in media that have to follow the orders they are given.

It is easy to dismiss the media pawns, but the most powerful individual on the planet has targeted me as his primary obstacle that must be removed. Every three letter agency is at his disposal, and the executive powers have grown beyond what an individual American's rights can protect against.

A dissenter of medical mandates is now a target and obstacle to be removed. I know – that's 25 years' worth of blood, sweat and tears coming down.

I can hardly believe these words are coming out of my mouth. It's a testament of just how radical things have degenerated in the recent past. However, I will continue to publish new articles, BUT going forward, each article I publish will be available for only 48 hours and will then be removed from the website.

We are at the crossroad where change is unavoidable. We all must make choices that determine our future. To many, this looks like a war ... but what we need to find is peace. I am going to find peace through this sacrifice.

Local food, local democracy – our local community strength is the best way to achieve peace moving forward, and to stop authoritarian technocracy. I also believe we are at our strongest when we can care and maintain respect for each other. This is how we can make our most important decisions in life.

The above article is exactly my point. If you suppress ideas, as wrong as they may be, you only drive those ideas underground. You can not refute bad ideas if they are not in the light. Then those ideas grown unchallenged by science or common sense. So congrats to all of the suppressive entities. You are fanning the flames of misinformation, not the originators.

LAS CRUCES – New Mexico State University business college professor David Clements remains on emergency suspension following his rejection of campus mask mandates in his classroom and the university's vaccine mandate.

Clements was suspended with pay in August, according to a notice from the provost's office, after several students filed complaints. On Aug. 27 the investigation and his administrative leave were formally extended.

Clements, a lawyer who previously served as deputy district attorney in New Mexico's 12th Judicial District, has also reported on the site that he is answering to complaints against him at the disciplinary board of the New Mexico Supreme Court and has been blocked from flights on certain airlines. He has also responded to criticisms of an online fundraiser organized on his behalf by a supporter.

When reached by the Las Cruces Sun-News, Clements offered to make himself available for an unedited video interview with a required reading list for the interviewer regarding COVID-19, vaccines and the efficacy of masks. The Sun-News declined those conditions.

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the American people have been told to “follow the science.” Yet for a year and a half, they’ve heard contradicting messages from self-appointed prophets of “the science” like Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
We learned that politicians who claimed their decisions were science-driven often ignored scientific findings that didn’t fit certain political narratives. We discovered that scientists are fallible human beings, and some would let personal interests and political views cloud their judgment.
Is science itself one of the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic? I asked Dr. Scott Atlas at the 13th annual Freedom Conference hosted by the Steamboat Institute, a Colorado-based nonprofit organization. Formerly a professor and chief of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center, Atlas is now a senior fellow in health policy at the Hoover Institution.
Atlas has been under constant attacks by the left and the corporate media since he served as a special adviser to former President Trump and a member of the White House coronavirus task force from August to November 2020. The New York Times and the Washington Post ran hit pieces on Atlas, questioning his qualifications despite his distinguished career and scholarship.
Google-owned YouTube also removed a 50-minute video of Atlas’s interview with the Hoover Institute. Twitter took down his tweet that questioned the effectiveness of masks.

The ban on vaccine misinformation, announced in a blog post on Wednesday, comes as countries around the world continue to offer free immunizations for COVID-19 to a somewhat hesitant public. Public health officials have struggled to push back against a steady current of online misinformation about the COVID-19 shot since development of the immunization first got underway last year.

YouTube’s new rules will prohibit misinformation about any vaccine that has been approved by health authorities such as the World Health Organization and are currently being administered. The platform had already begun to crack down late last year on false claims about the COVID-19 vaccine.

All of this anti-vaccine crack down is very bad public health communication. People will just go somewhere else. And probably to a site where there is no objective, science based discussion about vaccine issues.

Big mistake. Vaccines do have issues - like all medicines, including natural medicines.

I saw a video the other day where a funeral director in England was interviewed. IMHO he made the most outlandish accusations that the NHS is, en masse, killing the elderly with tranquilizers in the pandemic - with no proof. He made a lot more accusations too. Taking his video off youtube will mean his material will be on another smaller platform where there are less people who will challenge him to produce some data, proof, witnesses, anything rational.

Big social media are idiots. You are throwing kerosene on the fire.

You can not control the entire internet.
 
A businessman had his interview with Dr. Malone removed from Youtube, and he was warned not to post such materials again. Dr. Malone was a pioneer in mRNA technology, has been vaccinated and still thinks it has benefits, but he is not 100% in line with the government narrative. The businessman is concerned about human rights violations regarding the mandates. He employs about 700 people and is trying to offer jobs to workers displaced by mandates.

I agree but I believe he was accusing the NHS of purposeful killing as part of a plot to depopulate the earth - not as accidental and reckless actions.

YouTube's COVID Purge Raises Troubling Censorship Questions

YouTube announced last week that it's banning a number of high-profile anti-vaccine activists from its platform. The policy shift is meant to stem the spread of misinformation, but it raises some troubling questions. Most important among them: is more censorship worth the cost it imposes on society?

YouTube triggered an uproar early last week, announcing that it would take “down several video channels associated with high-profile anti-vaccine activists including Joseph Mercola and Robert F. Kennedy Jr,” the Washington Post reported on Wednesday. The move is designed to silence controversial voices “experts say are partially responsible for helping seed the skepticism that’s contributed to slowing vaccination rates across the country.”

The new policy strikes all the right chords with most people in the science community. It supposedly shuts up belligerent activists with no interest in telling the truth, and perhaps makes it easier to educate the public about vaccination. But the situation isn't that simple.

YouTube is a private company and its new policy isn't a First Amendment issue as a result. But the platform's heightened restrictions still come with a high price tag: they invite federal speech regulations that could silence other voices, including those of reputable scientists, and they leave many high-profile misinformation spreaders unaffected.

The media: champions of vaccine skepticism

The assumption behind the new policy is that banning certain content creators will cut into the infodemic currently plaguing the world, and it should have come much sooner. According to the Post:

'You create this breeding ground and when you deplatform it doesn’t go away, they just migrate,' said Hany Farid, a computer science professor and misinformation researcher at the University of California at Berkeley. 'This is not one that should have been complicated. We had 18 months to think about these issues, we knew the vaccine was coming, why was this not the policy from the very beginning?'

There's actually much more to the story than Professor Farid lets on. We can't point the finger at YouTube and call it a day, because the modern anti-vaccine movement “goes back to well before the pandemic,” the Post noted just a few paragraphs later. “False scientific claims that childhood vaccines caused autism made in the late 1990s have contributed to rising numbers of people refusing to let their kids get shots that had been commonplace for decades.” Scientists and journalists later learned that the study was fraudulent and the doctor behind it, Andrew Wakefield, had his medical degrees revoked.

As many readers will recall, social media didn't exist in the 1990s, nor in the 1970s when safety concerns about the diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (DTP) vaccine erupted across the world. It wasn't YouTube or Facebook that amplified theses fears; instead “Television documentaries and newspaper reports drew public attention to the controversy,” according to the College of Physicians of Philadelphia.

In America, the “controversy began with media attention on the alleged risks of DTP,” the College notes, specifically from a 1982 documentary, produced by NBC, called DPT: Vaccination Roulette. “That documentary gave birth to the idea that DPT caused permanent brain damage and that a vaccine could cause harm,” pediatric infectious disease expert Paul Offit told Discover last October. “Companies got hit with enormous lawsuits and a lot of them stopped making vaccines — and we almost lost vaccine manufacturing here in the U.S.”...

The warning only pops up when you click on the link that would normally take you directly to the Youtube video. This happens on both Malone's and Vanden Bossche's Twitter feeds. There is no flag on the Youtube video when you get there, so it is not Youtube. And you can view the scientists' posts just fine and play the video there as you discovered. The warning when you try to view the video direct on Youtube must be internally generated within Twitter.
