For 3,5 months in the Donetsk region of 179 people died of influenza, including 11 children. Told the IMC reported in oblses.
In 114 samples of sectional material of the dead established the presence of influenza A (H1N1). Dominant agent in the etiology of disease is influenza type A laboratory confirmed influenza pandemic variant A (H1N1) in 817 patients (37.2% surveyed).
In the total number of patients with influenza, SARS and their complications during this period close to 469 thousand cases, including children under 18 years - more than half. In the last week in the region has experienced a slight increase in the incidence of influenza and SARS by preschool and school age.
In general, the prevalence increased by 1%. Saved on the increased activity of the epidemic process among schoolchildren in Gorlovka, Mariupol, Torez, Krasnolimanskaya, Slavic areas, where rates exceed the level epidporoga at 32-41%.
