Report Cordova slight upturn in cases of A/H1N1 virus

Mexico City. Health Secretary Jose Angel Cordova, said in recent days have seen a slight upturn in influenza A/H1N1.
He noted that a hospital had admitted 15 people, the figure rose to 30 and attributed the situation to temperature changes.
The federal official said there are many people who do not pay attention to the disease, and noted that to date there are 1,044 deaths recorded,
(As per Govt.website 1093 as of 3/3/10) and that the largest proportion occurred in people between 30 and 39.
Overall, the population response to this campaign has been positive, because in a month have been implemented over four million sera, suggesting that the strategy goes as planned.
He acknowledged that a person in Chihuahua had adverse effects on purchase of Guillain-Barre syndrome associated with the human influenza vaccination, although the date is fully recovered.
Noting that there are four cases possibly related to seasonal influenza vaccine, said that this syndrome is a disease that is not usually associated with vaccination and is not caused by vaccines.
